About the role

We're recruiting for a Senior Customer Development role, primarily remote, as part of our enterprise sales team. This team at Blackbaud collaborates with prominent organizations in the social impact sector, including charities, educational institutions, foundations, and other fundraising and grant-making nonprofits across Europe.

Supported by our Solutions Consulting and Professional Services teams, you will assist social good organizations in increasing efficiencies and performance through the adoption of Blackbaud's SaaS solutions and services. Your efforts will help streamline operations, boost fundraising, distribute grant funding, and support mission delivery. The role may also involve working with and influencing the CRM and digital marketing technology partners of these organizations, such as Salesforce and Microsoft Dynamics integrators.

What you'll be doing
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with senior decision-makers at key nonprofits across the UK & EMEA to understand their fundraising and technology challenges, pains, and opportunities.
  • Articulate effective solutions to address these challenges, delivering positive outcomes for clients.
  • Collaborate with internal teams such as Services, Customer Success, and Products to develop comprehensive go-live strategies.
  • Support partnerships within Blackbaud, including with our Corporate Impact and JustGiving Account Management teams, to create tailored joint solutions.
  • Represent Blackbaud at sector events and with influencing groups and associations.
  • Manage and report on opportunities and engagements within your territory.
  • Contribute ideas and expertise to drive innovation in Blackbaud's solutions and market strategies.
What we need from you
  • At least 5 years of experience in complex, solution-based sales, preferably engaging multiple decision-makers.
  • Alternatively, transferable nonprofit or fundraising experience demonstrating the ability to manage complex projects with a consultative sales approach, identifying and diagnosing organizational pains.
  • Proven success in developing engagement and sales strategies, managing a portfolio of current and prospective clients.
  • Strong focus on acquiring new business while nurturing existing relationships.
  • Excellent communication skills for delivering compelling, value-focused presentations and influencing senior decision-makers.
  • Experience working with charities is advantageous. A genuine passion for the nonprofit and social good sector is essential.
  • Ability to work remotely in a professional environment suitable for calls and video meetings.

We are a remote-first company with a busy London office for UK employees. Occasional travel within the UK and Europe may be required, including monthly meetings in London.
