Customer Delivery Driver, Supermarket Assistant

About the Role

This is a front line role where you represent Waitrose & Partners to each customer you meet, ensuring a positive impression through the highest levels of customer service.

Responsibilities

• Deliver groceries to customers' doors using the company vehicle.
• Assist in the store with stock control, cashiering and lifting heavy products.
• Use initiative to handle unexpected situations while maintaining service quality.

Essential Experience & Qualifications

• Full valid UK manual driving licence with no more than six points.
• Minimum age 18 years old.
• Must pass a licence check and a security check as part of the application process.

Desirable Experience & Qualifications

• Previous driving role experience.
• Knowledge of chilled vehicle operation.

Contract Details

• Pay: £14.31 per hour.
• Contract type: Permanent.
• Hours: Part time 15 hours per week, including early starts, late finishes, evenings and weekends with hours 07 00 and 14 00.
• Job level: Partnership Level 10.
• Location: Walton Le Dale (Waitrose & Partners), Capitol Centre, Walton Le Dale, Lancashire, PR5 4AW.

Benefits & Considerations

• Night premium of £3.75 per hour for hours between 22:00 and 06:00.
• Eligibility for Enhanced Hours Premium arrangements if enrolled.
