Job Description
Job Summary

Customer Care Associate - Permanent - Location: Peterborough (hybrid model requires colleagues to be in the office at least 40% of their time). Full time - 37.5 hours per week (shift times 8:30am - 5:30pm Monday to Friday). Salary: £26,228 with opportunity to increase through our Pay Progression Scheme after initial training. Training: comprehensive, hands on for first 3 months in our Peterborough office.

Responsibilities
  • Answer inbound calls from customers and help them use the Aegon Platform to manage their money.
  • Listen to customers' needs and communicate in clear, easy to understand language.
  • Demonstrate empathy and put the customer's well being at the heart of every interaction.
  • Maintain high quality and accuracy while meeting targets and deadlines.
Qualifications
  • Experience in customer service (contact centre, face to face, retail, hospitality - that kind of thing).
  • Good communicator with an eye for detail.
  • Ability to put yourself in a customer's shoes, take ownership and work flexibly to meet expectations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools such as Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel.
Pay and Benefits

Our entry level salary is £26,228 (or £13.45ph). Through the Pay & Progression scheme, your financial reward can grow up to £33,240 (£17.05ph). We contribute 9% of salary to the enhanced pension scheme (you contribute 3%); contributions may be matched up to a combined 20% of salary. A discretionary annual bonus depends on personal and company performance. 34days leave per year (including bank holidays, pro rated for part time).
