Curriculum Team Leader - Sport, Public Services and Motorsport

Salary: SP34 - £40,210 to SP37 - £43,919 per annum
About the role:
We have an exciting opportunity for a Curriculum Team Leader with a determination for excellence to join our Motorsport, Sport and Public Service Department here at our York campus. This role will be fixed term, maternity cover.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the day to day operational management of the Motorsport, Sport, Public Services, Forensic and Criminal Investigation and Enterprise and Entrepreneurship Department.
- Support the Head of area in developing curriculum, staff and timetable to deliver the college strategy and vision.
- Deliver and manage a teaching caseload of up to 500 hours.
- Ensure delivery of KPIs, agreed targets and deadlines.
- Develop, organise and champion processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Educated to degree level or above in a relevant subject, holding a teaching qualification.
- Excellent knowledge of teaching, learning and a key focus on quality and student experience.
- Prior line management or project management experience, preferably in the sector.
- Strong organisational and collaborative skills.

Start Date: The College operates 2 starter/induction days per month to welcome and onboard new members. These are usually the first Monday and third Wednesday of each month (unless there is a bank holiday).
