  • Standardisation: Ensure that key elements-resources, suppliers, systems, and processes-are standardised and repeatable across the globe.
  • Digital Transformation: Champion digital transformation initiatives wherever applicable. Embrace and promote new technologies that enhance Millboard's capabilities.
  • Data Security: Strengthen existing systems and data security processes to safeguard company, staff, and customer data at the highest level.
  • Legal Compliance: Stay informed about legislation and certification requirements impacting IT systems and data across Millboard's global estate.
  • Global Team Structure: Create an internal team structure that reflects the global nature of IT projects and support.
  • Mentorship: Manage and mentor team members, playing a key role in their professional development.
  • Fostering robust relationships: Build strong relationships with the c-suite and core business leaders to enhance IT visibility throughout the organisation, while also ensuring that the business has a voice within the IT domain

Your Background and Experience:
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in a technology-focused role, preferably within a manufacturing or distribution business.
  • Previous track record of successfully delivering IT initiatives across multiple countries or sites.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional projects spanning different countries.
  • Broad expertise in both technical and non-technical domains.
  • Strong history of delivering successful IT strategies and building effective teams-ideally with at least three years of similar outcomes.
  • Thrives under pressure and consistently delivers results.
  • Embraces challenges and invites constructive debate.
  • Communicates effectively across all organisational levels.
  • Demonstrates technical agility, selecting the right systems for optimal solutions.
  • Approachable, accessible, and detail oriented.

  • Possesses strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Shows unwavering perseverance to complete diverse projects and adapt as needed.
  • Flexible with working hours to accommodate business needs, including international travel.
  • Holds a valid passport and a full UK driving licence.
