We're working with a corporate tax advisory team in the West Midlands who are looking to appoint a CTA-qualified Corporate Tax Manager (or strong Assistant Manager ready to step up) with a focus on transactions work. This is a corporate tax advisory role within a wider team, with a clear emphasis on M&A and deal-related tax work.

Responsibilities

• Corporate tax advisory on M&A transactions
• Tax due diligence and structuring assignments
• Supporting private equity and corporate clients on deals
• Cross-border and complex transaction work
• Working alongside senior advisers on live advisory projects

The wider team also covers broader corporate tax advisory work, but this role will sit within their transactions stream and be heavily deal-focused.

Qualifications

• CTA qualified
• Strong corporate tax background
• Demonstrable exposure to transactions / advisory work
• Confident client-facing ability and technical delivery
• Ability to manage parts of live projects with senior oversight
