CSCS Driving Labourer

Responsive Personnel are pleased to be working with a leading site service company who are expanding their teams across the UK due to business growth and are looking to recruit Driving Labourers with a valid CSCS card to assist with the offloading and positioning goods such as kitchen units, worktops, furniture, and bedroom items at various new-build sites on a permanent basis.

This is a hands-on role that requires physical fitness, professionalism, and a proactive attitude.

Location: Cardiff

Hours: 8am - 4pm (typically)

Pay: £110 - £130 per day

Schedule: Monday to Friday

Key Responsibilities:

• Meet delivery vehicles at assigned sites to offload and position goods into the correct houses and flats
• Ensure all work is carried out professionally, safely, and efficiently
• Take photographic evidence of completed jobs to confirm successful delivery and setup
• Communicate clearly and professionally with site teams and clients
• Be willing to collect your co-working labourer on route to site

Prior to starting, you will need to attend a 5-day training course. This will be paid training at £400 plus a fuel allowance of £0.25 per mile to reach the training location

Essential Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid CSCS card - must be CITB Certified
• Access to your own vehicle is essential
• Full UK driving licence
• Physically fit and capable of lifting heavy items
• Ability to follow written instructions and diagrams
• Reliable, punctual, and presentable with strong customer service skills
• Willing to travel up to 2 hours from your home location

Progression:

• Enrolment on to enhanced 'Platinum Scheme' from week 12 (subject to performance and reliability)
• Sub-Contract offered at week 12 for successful candidates
• Enrolment into the company's 'Fast Track' career development programme

Mileage:

Reimbursed at 25p per mile, excluding the first 30 miles of daily travel

PPE Requirements:

Candidates must provide and wear their own PPE, including:

• Safety boots
• Hard hat
• Hi-vis vest or jacket
• Gloves
