CRM Manager - 12 Month FTC

Location: Hybrid, Central London, 3 days in office

We're looking for a CRM Manager to join a forward-thinking retail business on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This isn't just a standard CRM role, we're looking for someone with experience in stand-alone CRM positions who can take ownership of the customer life cycle, translate data into actionable insights, and create seamless, multi-channel communications that drive engagement, retention, and commercial impact.

Working closely with marketing and technical teams, you'll be pivotal in bridging the gap between online and offline customer journeys, unlocking data opportunities, and shaping communications across email, SMS, direct mail, and web personalisation. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives on shaping strategy while executing high-impact campaigns.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Scope business requirements and identify communication opportunities across the full customer life cycle
  • Propose multi-channel communication plans tailored to customer cohorts
  • Analyse available customer data and blend cross-channel insights to create joined-up experiences
  • Deliver quick-win activities while building longer-term CRM strategies
  • Develop and implement automated programmes with relevant segmentation and creative content
  • Establish testing and measurement frameworks to optimise customer engagement and value
  • Collaborate with technical teams to support offline and online customer journeys
  • Advise on campaign prioritisation and next best action' strategies

We're looking for someone with:

  • Proven CRM, customer communications, or life cycle marketing experience
  • Strong understanding of customer data, segmentation, and personalisation techniques
  • Experience managing multi-channel campaigns (email, SMS, direct mail, web)
  • Analytical skills with confidence in interpreting data and insights
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms, ESPs, and customer data management
  • A proactive, strategic mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences
