A fast-scaling fintech is looking to hire a Director of Credit Risk Strategy into a pivotal leadership role within the risk function. This position sits at the heart of how the business balances growth, customer experience and portfolio performance, owning credit risk strategy across the full customer lifecycle.

THE ROLE

• Define and evolve credit risk policy and strategy across the lifecycle- using SQL
• Balance growth targets with portfolio protection and sustainability
• Translate data and model outputs into actionable decision frameworks
• Work closely with Decision Science to optimise cut-offs, segmentation and policy
• Partner with Product to ensure risk is embedded into customer journeys
• Monitor portfolio performance and continuously refine strategy

REQUIREMENTS

• Has deep experience in credit risk strategy and policy- with hands on SQL
• Understands how decisioning works in digital / fintech environments
• Has worked closely with decision science and analytics teams
