Nexeo is looking for a Credit Officer - Brussels

Join our team and support a leading financial institution by managing credit requests and client relations efficiently and professionally.

About the Role:

As a Credit Officer, you will be the first point of contact for clients applying for credit via telephone. You will guide clients through their credit applications, advise them on the best financial products adapted to their needs, and ensure the smooth follow-up and finalization of their dossiers in a timely manner.

Your Responsibilities:

• Handle credit applications with clients by phone and follow up to ensure prompt completion of files
• Act as a financial advisor, offering the most suitable credit products based on your analysis and performing commercial upselling
• Provide clients with clear updates regarding their credit requests as the primary contact
• Demonstrate a strong sales mindset with a passion for meeting challenges and exceeding goals

In the second phase, you will:

• Verify contracts, supporting documents, legal mentions, and signatures to ensure compliance
• Manage fund disbursement to clients' accounts
• Assist clients in resolving any non-compliance issues

Your Profile:

• Excellent commercial mindset; experience in credit is a strong asset
• Customer-oriented, stress-resistant, and team player
• Autonomous, structured, precise, and rigorous in your work
• Enjoy client contact, especially over the phone
• Fluent in Dutch and French, with proficient knowledge of English
• Proficient in MS Office tools
• Previous experience in call centers, banking, or credit-related roles is preferable

Work Location & Flexibility:

• Location: Brussels
• Hybrid work model: 50% on-site / 50% remote after an initial 3-month period
