Salary: £52,000-£58,000 per annum

Hours: 9:30am-5:30pm

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Credit Controller to join a leading professional services firm. The successful candidate must have previous law firm experience and a strong understanding of WIP, debt management and the wider order-to-cash cycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of clients and drive cash collection.
• Monitor WIP and debt, identifying and escalating high-risk balances.
• Support WIP reduction and improved conversion.
• Assist with cash forecasting and monthly exposure reporting.
• Liaise with Partners, Fee Earners, clients and the Cashiers team.
• Assist with reconciliations, reporting and client analysis.
• Recommend appropriate action on debt recovery, settlements and write-offs.

About You

• Previous Credit Control experience within a law firm is essential.
• Strong WIP and debt management knowledge.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Confident working with Partners and Fee Earners.
• Proactive, organised and commercially minded.
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
