Credit Controller - Cheltenham ASAP Start

Your new companyYou will be joining a well-established organisation within the education sector based in Cheltenham, supporting the finance function during a period of temporary cover. Your new roleAs a Credit Controller, you will play a key role in supporting the finance team with the effective management of outstanding debt. This is a hands-on, fully on-site role in Cheltenham, working closely with the team to ensure income is collected in a timely manner. Duties will include chasing overdue invoices, allocating payments, resolving billing queries, maintaining accurate account records, and producing aged debt reports.
This position requires an ASAP start and is initially offered as 3 months' permanent cover, with the potential to continue beyond this period.
What you'll need to succeed

• Previous experience in credit control or accounts receivable
• Strong communication skills and confidence chasing payments
• Good attention to detail and ability to manage multiple accounts
• Willingness to work fully on site in Cheltenham
• Availability to start immediately

Experience within the education or public sector would be advantageous, but is not essential.
