The Role

As a Credit & Collections Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring the financial health of the organization. Acting as the bridge between customers and the finance team, you will manage the accounts receivable process, monitor credit risks, and maintain strong customer relationships. You will report directly to the Head of Finance and collaborate closely with colleagues from Sales and Customer Service.

The Responsibilities

• Manage the accounts receivable portfolio and follow up on outstanding invoices
• Analyze the creditworthiness of new and existing customers
• Set and manage customer credit limits
• Maintain strong customer relationships and resolve payment issues
• Ensure accurate and complete accounts receivable administration
• Coordinate with the credit insurer and manage related communications
• Support month-end closings and financial reporting
• Contribute to the optimization of payment processes and credit risk reduction

The Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in a similar role
• Completed MBO/HBO education in a financial field
• Experience with accounting systems, preferably Microsoft Navision / Business Central
• Strong command of both Dutch and English
• Accurate, proactive, and communicative work style
• Structured approach with strong organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
