Credit Analyst


Aufgaben
  • Analyze credit risk of complex transactions, evaluate downside scenarios, recovery prospects, collateral packages, covenants, and structural protections and prepare credit applications
  • Conduct sector, market, and company research to support investment decisions
  • Assist with transaction execution, documentation, and closing processes
  • Support Portfolio Managers in the management of Alternative Investment Funds ("AIF"), especially in the asset selection, monitoring of financial performance, reporting, liquidity management, and compliance
  • Manage communication with fintech platforms, proceed in financial and portfolio reviews, manage and monitor credit limits
  • Organize and prepare Quantic's various funds' Investment Committees
  • Coordinate & communicate with (external) Investment Advisors, delegated Portfolio Managers, Depositary Banks, Auditors and Funds' Administrators
  • Contribute to the development, maintenance, and quality assurance of Quantic's proprietary risk management tools

Profil
  • Bachelor/Master's degree in business administration / economics / finance or similar work experience in banking
  • 3-4 years of relevant experience in private credit, leveraged finance, credit analysis, restructuring, transaction advisory, or a similar field such as investment banking with credit focus
  • Strong understanding of financial statements, accounting, corporate finance, and credit fundamentals
  • Ability to analyze complex financial information and identify key investment risks and opportunities
  • Knowledge of credit portfolio analytics and management
  • Excellent financial modeling skills and advanced knowledge of MS Office tools (with emphasis on Excel) plus a good general understanding of AI-driven databases
  • Knowledge of relevant EU regulatory environment (with emphasis on Irish & Luxembourg law & regulations) with a focus on AIFs and AIFMs / Management Companies is a plus
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; fluency in German is a strong plus; any additional language would be an asset
  • High attention to detail and ability to produce accurate, investment-grade work under tight deadlines with ability to prioritize
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a small, collaborative investment team.
