THE ROLE

A unique opportunity has become available within the business for a Senior Production Manager to join the Project team. As one of the most senior team members, you will be responsible for the company's most complex and high-profile events, managing blue-chip clients and mentoring the team. Although direct line management isn't part of the role, you will be expected to lead by example and support junior team members.

The main responsibilities include:

  • Managing key projects for existing and new clients, primarily in the events division.
  • Assessing clients' needs and investigating the best ways to fulfill their requirements creatively, technically, and commercially.
  • Contributing to client briefs and tender applications with a focus on creative project delivery.
  • Attending client meetings and pitches.
  • Developing digital offerings (Virtual / Hybrid / Content / Visualisations, etc.).
  • Generating accurate quotations with a sound commercial basis.
  • Carrying out site surveys both in the UK and overseas.
  • Creating project floor plans and visuals to support technical and creative solutions.
  • Managing and coordinating scenic production and print work.
  • Specifying AV equipment, using in-house equipment where appropriate, and allocating external resources with the assistance of the Operations team.
  • Liaising with all technical departments and suppliers as necessary.
  • Planning schedules and logistics.
  • Managing onsite health and safety.
  • On-site management of projects, including technical rigging, client liaison, rehearsals, and operations.
  • Leading the company's lighting design offerings and occasional operation.
THE CANDIDATE

The ideal candidate will have solid experience in technical event production at a senior level, working on a wide range of events. A broad and proven understanding of AV, including sound, lighting, video, projection, and IT, is essential. Experience with Vectorworks or similar CAD packages is required.

Experience in virtual event production would be advantageous.

This role involves significant client management and pitch responsibilities, requiring an individual who is client-facing with strong experience in liaison, account management, and pitching.

A full UK driving license is essential.
