Creative Producer / Creative Access Manager
Posted 9 hours 5 minutes ago by DisabilityArtsOnline Limited
The Artist is a multi-award-winning actor, singer, writer, composer and director whose career spans more than two decades across theatre, music, radio/audio and writing. She has performed leading roles for major national companies, including world premieres, on some of the UK's most prestigious stages and concert platforms. As a Disabled artist, she brings lived experience, artistic rigour and a distinctive voice to everything she makes. She is currently developing an ambitious new digitally immersive musical work, supported by major national arts funders.
The roleThe Creative Producer / Creative Access Manager sits alongside the existing Support Worker team, providing producing, project management and fundraising, as well as Creative Access Management as a support worker. Fundraising is a significant part of this role: identifying funding opportunities, writing applications and building lasting relationships with funders, so that the Artist's work is properly resourced now and into the future.
You will act as a trusted thinking partner, identifying where projects, partnerships, commissions, publications, productions, media opportunities and future ambitions intersect, and holding and amplifying the Artist's established national profile with accuracy and pride.

We are looking for someone who is trauma-informed and whose emotional literacy is equal to their professional skill. You will hold artistry and access together without flattening either, and move easily between the detail of the moment and the shape of the whole.

- Strategic and practical thinking, with initiative and clarity
- A strong understanding of the arts, culture, media, publishing and creative industries
