We are an outstanding school in Hammersmith looking for a creative English Literature & English Language teacher committed to improving exam results, progress, and engagement of pupils.
About the roleThis is a full time role in which you will deliver well planned lessons and strong behaviour management. The school's vision is to develop well rounded citizens through a balanced curriculum and requires a dynamic teacher who can think on their feet and tailor lessons to the needs of pupils.
This is a 1 year contract starting in September 2026, but may turn into a permanent contract at the school.
You will work alongside an extremely supportive and collaborative department with a team of excellent practitioners. Teachers will also have access to the school's internal CPD programme.
The ideal candidate- Extensive experience teaching English at Key Stage 3 and GCSE
- Strong teaching background
- Available for interview and observation
- Committed and proactive in engaging students
- Valid enhanced DBS check before starting work
