CREATIVE DESIGN, SENIOR ASSOCIATE
LOCATION: Full Time in Madrid, Spain (hybrid position)

WHO YOU ARE:
You are a experienced visual storyteller with 5-7 years of VIDEO and GRAPHIC design experience with a passion for brand building, and multiple design aesthetics who also embraces AI-powered tools to accelerate production and drive campaign output at scale. You have creative team management and mentoring experience with individuals or small teams. Your deep expertise with Adobe Creative Cloud - including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, and After Effects - combined with your ability to leverage AI-assisted creative tools to streamline and accelerate the development process, will enable you to oversee and drive high-quality content creation for:
- Print (ads, articles, brochures, branded publications, etc.)
- Digital (social media platforms including Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, etc.)
- Video (from basic post production to advanced visual effects in After Effects using Element3d, Cinema 4d, etc., you're comfortable turning raw footage into polished and studio quality compelling stories)
- Events (content intended for large-format printing)
You are a problem solver that sees AI tools as extensions of your creative arsenal - not as shortcuts, but as accelerators. You thrive in fast, high-volume production environments and get excited about using technology to scale creativity.
Delivering under pressure and on tight deadlines doesn't faze you or stifle your creativity.
You think outside of the box to add compelling details/style choices to "cut through the noise" of the unending content streams we are all inundated with through social media and sponsored ads.
Since you are a storyteller, you want to know all the details relating to the subject matter of the stories you are telling, and you feel you must know and understand the audience intended to view the content you are creating.
You are passionate about personal development of you and the members of your team. You are excited to both teach and learn new skills, tools, and techniques that will expand your and your team's repertoire. You understand that feedback is a gift and are skilled at both receiving and providing feedback and coaching. You want to explore new creative territories and tackle new creative challenges both individually, and more importantly, collaboratively as a creative team.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Work directly with the Creative Director to understand our brand directions and guide the creative team to achieve this for multiple Roc360 brands.
- Generate new and original visual assets and content for Roc360 and its affiliate brands to the specifications of our internal and external partners and our Creative Director.
- Participate in ideation sessions and work collaboratively with a small, dedicated team of creatives to execute and deliver a variety of content for multiple Roc360 brands
- Add and update new logos, treatments, and details to current marketing materials and documents
- Develop options and solutions for content in situations where no clear idea or specs were shared with you - you will do this by understanding the businesses, and the needs of business stakeholders who are requesting content in conjunction with a deep knowledge of the brand guidelines and the preferences for tone and style of our brands as laid out by our Creative Director.
- Summarize your accomplishments and keep internal parties apprised of decisions, developments, and progress on a daily, weekly, bi-weekly, and quarterly basis.
- Work using Adobe Creative Cloud applications, and additional or ancillary software, plugins, stock materials, etc. to complete the majority of your assignments.
- Quickly turn around various concept works that will be discussed and refined to become final brand content.
- Provide mentorship to junior members of the creative team.
- Assist with PowerPoint decks and presentations as needed (colors, fonts, formatting, layout, and slide design, infographics, customized icons, etc.)
- Adhere to, add to, and advocate for our brand standards and style guides.
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Superior written and verbal communication skills (fluent English required) required
- BA in Design, Production, Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred
- At least 4 years experience working in a demanding design role (agency or in-house) required
- 1-2 years of leadership/management experience leading at least 2-3 direct reports as part of an in-house or agency creative team required
- Full working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud required
- Expertise in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, Premiere Pro, Firefly, Media Encoder, required
- Experience working with other 3d applications (Substance 3d, Blender, etc.) a plus
- Familiarity or expertise with AI creative platforms and a passion for exploring new tech-driven design efficiencies, including but not limited to :

- Professional experience working as part of a team required
- Team-oriented and highly collaborative personality
- Highly motivated with a strong work ethic and desire to work in a fast-paced and fluid environment
- Ability to clearly articulate ideas, your creative process, and decision-making to colleagues and senior-level executives in regular conversations and presentations
- Experience working with and managing third-party vendors and contractors strongly preferred
- Some copywriting experience for creative (in English) required
- Full understanding of modern typography, layout, and color (for both print and digital - CMYK/RGB, etc.) required
- Advanced understanding of advertisements, one-pagers, brochures, white papers/research papers, email layout and graphics, video sizing and resolution, (print and digital), etc. required
- Proven experience in creating attention-grabbing designs on social media.
