Crane Operative

Job Title: Overhead Crane OperativeLocation: Loughborough, LeicestershireDuration: Temp to PermShifts: Days We are currently recruiting for a Production Serviceman that holds a valid FLT Licence (B1)and Over head Crane licence for an ongoing contract based in Loughborough.To ensure continuity of production materials and general housekeeping duties within all areas. You will provide indirect labour to transformer production winding, transformer assembly, final assembly and internal transport of consumable materials and transformer parts.

Must have B1 Counterbalance licence

Must have Overhead Crane/Slinger experience/ licence

Key Duties & Responsibilities: Maintain and improve level of cleanliness and housekeeping throughout the Production facility. Movement of materials & parts between areas, including oven process. Operation of overhead cranes, ride on pallet truck, and fork-lift truck.Shifts: Mornings - 07:00 to 16:00 Monday to Thursday, 07:00 to 13:00 FridayPay Rates: Basic - £15.50 PAYE, £20.52 UMB ( whilst temping)

Over time rates available

Qualifications:

• Forklift truck licence B1
• Overhead Crane

Skills: Good interpersonal & communication skills.Essential Experience: Overhead crane, slinging & lifting experience. Previous exposure to manufacturing/engineering environment.
