About the Role

As a Cover Supervisor, you will deliver pre-set work across a range of subjects, ensuring lessons run smoothly in the teacher's absence. You will manage classroom behaviour, keep students on task and provide support where needed to maintain a productive learning atmosphere.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pre-prepared lessons to whole classes across different subjects
• Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
• Ensure students remain focused and complete the work set
• Provide guidance and support to students during lessons
• Report back to teaching staff on student progress and behaviour
• Uphold a safe, structured and positive classroom environment

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with young people is desirable
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Confidence in leading a classroom independently
• A calm, adaptable and proactive approach
• A genuine interest in education and supporting student development
