Job Title: Cover Supervisor - Secondary Education

Location: Cardiff, Wales

Salary: £110 per day

As a Cover Supervisor, you will supervise pupils in Years 7, 8, and 9, as well as GCSE classes, helping to create a positive and productive learning environment. This role offers flexible, ongoing work and the chance to develop valuable skills in a rewarding industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage classroom behaviour for pupils in secondary schools across Cardiff
• Support teachers with lesson delivery and classroom activities
• Ensure the safety and well-being of students during lessons
• Assist with the implementation of educational programmes and support pupils with special educational needs
• Maintain a positive and inclusive environment conducive to learning
• Adapt to different school environments and support various age groups

Requirements

• Experience (paid or voluntary) working with children or in the care sector
• Genuine interest in working with young people and supporting their development
• Open to training and professional development opportunities
• Proactive work ethic and a patient, understanding attitude
• Good understanding of special educational needs (SEN)
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Flexibility to work across secondary schools in Cardiff
