Cover Supervisor - Local Secondary School

Type: Full Time

Working Hours: 08:30 am - 16:00 pm.

Salary: £90 - £105 per day

About the role

You will be covering lessons across the school to either relieve classroom teachers for PPA time or for general sickness.

Qualifications

• Degree required; no prior cover supervisor experience required
• Some experience working with young people (e.g., supporting workers, youth workers)
• Personable, able to adapt to challenging behaviour situations

Responsibilities

• Supervising students to complete set tasks
• Managing behaviour
• Assisting pupils with questions
• Following school behaviour and safeguarding policies
• Collecting completed work and handing to Head of Department
• Providing feedback on lessons and pupils
