Position: Cover Supervisor

Vida Education is currently seeking Cover Supervisors to work across a range of secondary schools in Penrith & surrounding areas.

This role is ideal for individuals with experience working with young people, graduates considering a career in teaching, or those looking for flexible work in a school setting.

Work is available on a supply basis, with opportunities for day-to-day, short-term and long-term placements.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will:

• Supervise classes during teacher absence

• Deliver pre-set lesson plans

• Maintain classroom behaviour and a positive learning environment

• Support pupils with their work as required

• Flexible work to suit your availability

• Day-to-day, short-term and long-term placements

• Opportunities in supportive secondary schools

• Competitive daily rates of pay

• A dedicated consultant who understands secondary education

• Experience working with children or young people (school-based experience preferred)

• Confidence managing a classroom environment

• Strong communication and behaviour management skills

• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

• A positive, professional attitude
