Are you highly organised, detail-focused, and a confident communicator?We're recruiting a Court Usher to support a busy Public Sector department in the heart of Guildford.

This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of the day-to-day operations of the court service, playing a key role in supporting hearings and ensuring a professional and smooth-running environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Setting up courtrooms (providing water, pads, pens, etc.)

• Ensuring correct and timely scheduling of court hearings

• Collating and managing court files and paperwork

• Directing visitors, witnesses, and legal professionals to the appropriate courtrooms

• Supporting the smooth running of court proceedings

• Recording outcomes and performing data entry

• Providing face-to-face support to court users, legal professionals, and senior staff

What We're Looking For:

• Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills

• A confident, professional manner when dealing with the public

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

• A flexible, reliable, and organised approach to work

Important Information:

• This role requires an Enhanced DBS check

• You must be able to provide three years of references
