Job Title: Court of Protection Solicitor (2 PQE+)

This Legal 500 firm is looking to expand its specialist Court of Protection team with the addition of a Solicitor or Legal Executive (2 PQE+).

The Role:

As a key member of the Court of Protection & Personal Injury Trusts department, you will:

• Deliver expert legal services to our clients, ensuring compliance with Court of Protection (COP) and Trusts regulations
• Manage and supervise fee earners and support staff, ensuring departmental standards are met
• Record all chargeable and non-chargeable time efficiently, supporting business goals and financial objectives
• Market our services through networking, article writing and updating website content to ensure legal accuracy
• Maintain Lexcel compliance, keeping department procedures and client communication up to standard
• Attend relevant training and conferences to stay up to date with industry developments
• Ensure firm-wide compliance, including policies on anti-money laundering, IT, health & safety and client care

Skills & Experience:

• Qualified Solicitor or CILEx with at least 2 years PQE
• Previous experience in Court of Protection law
• Strong knowledge of Trusts and Personal Injury matters
• Excellent time management and organisational skills
• The ability to work independently and under pressure in a fast-paced legal environment
• A professional and confident approach to client interactions, networking and marketing
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
