Country Manager - Benelux

Location: Benelux (Flexible, with regional travel)

Industry: Medical Devices / Chronic Care / Digital Health

We are seeking an experienced Country Manager to lead and accelerate growth across the Benelux region for a rapidly expanding player in the connected medical technology space. This pivotal role offers the opportunity to shape the regional strategy, spearhead commercial excellence, and build a high-performing team within a business undergoing significant transformation.

Key Responsibilities

Commercial Strategy & Market Growth (40%)

  • Define and execute the regional commercial roadmap, aligning with global priorities.
  • Develop and evolve the go-to-market strategy across portfolio, channels, customer groups, and market access.
  • Experiment with innovative engagement approaches across patient communities, healthcare professionals, payors and distributors.
  • Use market intelligence to guide strategic decisions and influence product and solution development.

Team Leadership & Development (40%)

  • Lead, inspire and coach a multi-disciplinary commercial team, fostering a culture of accountability, agility and innovation.
  • Develop talent, drive new ways of working, and support recruitment to strengthen key capabilities.
  • Encourage cross-functional collaboration and act as a role model for integrity and leadership.

Stakeholder & Ecosystem Engagement (20%)

  • Build and manage senior-level relationships with key opinion leaders, patient groups, healthcare partners and strategic customers.
  • Represent the organization at regional and international forums, ensuring alignment across affiliates.
  • Champion a patient-centric and entrepreneurial mindset throughout the region.

Candidate Profile

Industry Experience

  • Background in medical devices, pharma, or related chronic care sectors; experience in diabetes or digital health is advantageous.

Commercial Leadership

  • Proven track record of leading sales and commercial teams, with strong coaching and people-development capabilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive sustainable growth in fast-paced, innovative product segments.

Benelux Expertise

  • Strong understanding of the regional healthcare ecosystem, including patient pathways, reimbursement structures, and key stakeholders.

International Mindset

  • Experience operating within international organizations; culturally agile and curious.

Leadership Capabilities
