Job Description

Job Title: Forklift Counterbalance Driver
Salary: £13.96 per hour
Hours: 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM, 4 on / 4 off rota
Location: Hortonwood
Contract: Temp-to-Perm (T2P)

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Forklift Counterbalance Driver to join our busy food manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will operate forklifts safely and efficiently, maintaining high standards of health, safety, and food hygiene. This role has the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

Operate forklifts to move raw materials and finished products
Load and unload deliveries safely
Line feeding and transfers within warehouse or production areas
Maintain accurate stock records
Adhere to health & safety and food hygiene standards

Qualifications

Proven experience as a forklift driver, preferably in manufacturing or food production
Confident using hand held scanners and SAP systems
Minimum 2 years recent experience with a forklift counterbalance licence
Relevant forklift certification counterbalance
Valid and in date licence
Strong understanding of health & safety regulations
Reliable, punctual, and a team player
Ability to provide references
