Job Description
- Drafting detailed and accurate bills of costs for proceedings.
- Preparing points of dispute and replies in costs matters.
- Negotiating settlements of costs with opposing parties.
- Providing advice to clients regarding costs management and budgeting.
- Attending detailed assessment hearings when required.
- Maintaining an up-to-date understanding of costs law and procedural rules.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and professional standards.
- Collaborating with team members to meet deadlines and achieve client objectives.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Costs Draftsperson/Lawyer should have at least 4 years experience in costs drafting. Please note the level of experience identified in this advert is a guide only and does not preclude candidates with more or less experience from applying.
