Corporate Tax Senior

As a result of continued growth, an industry-leading, award-winning UK accountancy practice with 700+ staff is looking to hire a Corporate Tax Senior to join their trendy Central London offices.

Day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Reviewing and managing tax compliance matters
2. Coordinating and contributing to tax due diligence across various tax areas
3. Collaborating with the tax partner on tax reorganisation projects, such as capital reduction and s110 demergers, to separate different businesses and shareholders
4. Working closely with corporate finance on acquisitions, disposals, and succession planning
5. Advising on structuring related to the EIS/SEIS scheme and managing the assurance process
6. Providing guidance on the tax aspects of equity incentivisation schemes like EMI options
7. Having a broad understanding of other tax areas, including VAT and R&D, handled by specialist teams
8. Proactively contributing to proposals and expanding the corporate tax portfolio in London
9. Training and mentoring junior colleagues within the Business Tax Team
