Remote working Advisory-focused Director & Equity Partner progression

Looking for a Senior Manager role where you can influence more than just tax compliance?

Perhaps you want greater ownership of client relationships, more involvement in meaningful advisory work and a genuine route into Director and Equity Partner level.

This ambitious, fast-growing independent accountancy firm is redefining the traditional practice model through technology, strong client relationships and a genuinely advisory-led approach.

Advisory Work with Real Influence

This is a highly client-facing role where you'll own key corporate tax relationships, understand the businesses behind the returns and provide commercial advice that makes a genuine difference.

You'll also have the opportunity to:

  • Lead pre-year-end, completion and other key client meetings
  • Work closely with the Corporate, Family Business and Advisory teams
  • Deliver integrated solutions across a varied corporate tax portfolio
  • Work directly with senior leadership in a modern, technology-driven environment
  • Help shape the future growth of an ambitious independent firm
Progression Beyond Senior Manager

The firm offers significantly faster progression than many traditional practices, with genuine opportunities to advance into Director and Equity Partner positions while taking on greater leadership and commercial influence.

At Senior Manager level, this includes:

  • Coaching and developing the team while giving people real ownership
  • Delegating effectively and maintaining high technical standards
  • Supporting recruitment and helping to bring the right people into the business
  • Deepening client relationships and identifying opportunities to grow the work
  • Contributing to proposals, tenders, pricing and wider business development
How You'll Make an Impact

You'll combine portfolio leadership, complex technical review and corporate tax advisory work with responsibility for team development, commercial performance and the continued growth of client relationships.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Owning a portfolio of corporate tax clients and leading key relationships
  • Reviewing complex corporation tax returns, group computations and advisory outputs
  • Researching technical issues and preparing recommendations for partner sign-off
  • Managing WIP, billing and recovery across your portfolio
  • Translating legislative developments into clear, practical advice for clients
  • Delivering technical training and supporting the development of the wider team
The Full Package
  • Salary of up to £85,000
  • A genuinely advisory-focused position
  • Direct access to senior leadership
  • Director and Equity Partner progression opportunities
  • The opportunity to help shape a growing business
