BCL Legal is pleased to be assisting a top-ranked international law firm in its search for an Associate/Senior Associate to join its corporate team in Birmingham. This Corporate Solicitor opportunity is offered on a full-time, permanent basis with flexible working options and hybrid working as standard. Excellent salary and benefits package. Hybrid working.

The Role

• Join a dynamic, M&A and PE-focused corporate team within a globally recognised law firm.
• Work on significant domestic and cross-border M&A transactions, private equity deals, and advisory work.
• Collaborate with clients across various sectors, from FTSE 100 and FTSE 250 companies to SMEs and innovative start-ups.
• Play a key role in the growth of an expanding Midlands practice, taking on high levels of responsibility and gaining exposure to an international client base.

About You

• A minimum of three years' PQE in corporate law in England or Wales, with a strong focus on M&A, private equity, or related areas.
• Experience working on high-value transactions and providing commercial, strategic advice to clients.
• A proven track record in building and maintaining client relationships.
• A strong academic background and a passion for business development.
• A proactive, ambitious attitude, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
