Role Overview

An exciting opportunity is open to be a part of our dynamic and driven Sales Division, in the role of Corporate Sales Manager. The ideal candidate will have a background in driving corporate sales through negotiating rates, account management experience and a desire to build long term industry connections, with a passion for delivering great client experiences. This role involves developing sales plans, managing corporate accounts and driving additional revenue through group corporate rooms, meetings, conferences, events and F&B spend. Whilst corporate negotiated accounts are primary to this role, new business will also include seeking out and managing Edinburgh based direct corporate accounts that may generate only Groups & Events opportunities.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Working directly with the Senior Corporate Sales Manager, develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve associated revenue targets & KPI's set.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities for all Apex Hotels property locations.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with assigned corporate clients, travel managers, procurement, TMC agents and corporate partners.
  • Lead contract negotiations and close profitable deals, across the portfolio.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of corporate contracts and bookings.
  • Represent the company at trade shows, networking events, and industry functions.
  • Gather and share UK wide market trends and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities.
  • Prepare sales reports, account forecasts, and performance analysis for management.

  • Currently, or have previously worked within a Hotel Sales Manager role.
  • Have strong account management, strategic and organisational skills.
  • Have experience of negotiating and contracting.
  • Be a competent user of full Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word and database management.
