About Cool Earth

We stand no chance of fighting the climate crisis unless we halt rainforest destruction. At Cool Earth, in direct, day to day partnership with Indigenous and local people we have developed the most effective, efficient, and ethical way of doing exactly that. These communities have an unrivalled track record of keeping rainforests standing and stabilising our global climate.

Today, with the drivers of destruction more powerful than ever, Cool Earth works to increase community resilience against these threats. With funding from over 50,000 supporters, we back local expertise with the two most agile resources any community can use to protect their land: cash and data. Across the Amazon and Congo Basins and Papua New Guinea, Cool Earth is reinventing rainforest conservation.

About the role

We are looking for a Corporate Partnerships Coordinator to join our Corporate Partnerships team. This role is all about delivering an excellent experience for our corporate partners, making sure they feel valued, informed and connected to Cool Earth's work.

You'll be responsible for day to day partner communications, coordinating events and engagement activities, and keeping our systems and records up to date. It's a varied role that suits someone who is organised, enjoys building relationships and takes pride in getting the details right.

This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build a career in corporate partnerships or fundraising. You'll gain experience across stewardship, events, communications and administration while working within a supportive and ambitious team.

What you'll do

Partner stewardship and communications

  • Deliver day to day stewardship for corporate partners, ensuring they receive timely, engaging updates.
  • Act as a first point of contact for partner queries, responding promptly and professionally, and escalating issues where needed.
  • Support the Partnerships team to deliver tailored stewardship plans, including thank you communications, updates and touchpoints across the year.
  • Draft and coordinate partner emails, newsletters and content for digital channels, working with communications colleagues where appropriate.
  • Help prepare and send partner impact updates and reports, gathering information, data and stories from colleagues across the organisation.

Events and engagement

  • Coordinate logistics for partner engagement activities, including webinars, speaker sessions and internal staff briefings.
  • Support the planning and delivery of partner events, such as cultivation meetings, workshops or conference activity, including invitations, attendance lists and follow up.
  • Help develop and deliver digital engagement content for partners, such as presentations, slide decks and short updates for employee channels.
  • Assist in organising virtual and in person visits or briefings for key partners, ensuring a high quality experience.

Administration and data

  • Maintain accurate and up to date CRM records for all corporate partnerships, including contacts, activities, pipelines and income.
  • Support the administration of partnership agreements, including preparing documentation, tracking deliverables and coordinating renewals.
  • Process partnership donations and pledges, working closely with Finance to ensure accurate records, acknowledgement and reconciliation.
  • Help prepare partnership materials and assets, including presentations, briefing notes, case studies and branded resources.
  • Run regular reports and lists from the CRM to support stewardship, reporting and decision making.

Team and prospect support

  • Provide administrative support to the Partnerships team, including scheduling meetings, preparing agendas and circulating notes and actions.
  • Assist with research on current and prospective partners, gathering information for briefings and supporting the development of pitches and proposals.
  • Coordinate with colleagues in communications, programmes (MEL) and operations to gather information, stories and data needed for partner deliverables.

Other tasks as required by the Development team.

Who you are

It is essential to us that you have/are the following:

  • A friendly and professional manner.
  • A proactive problem solver who takes ownership.
  • Genuine interest in and commitment to the humanitarian and environmental principles of Cool Earth.
  • Aligned with our values: "smart", "driven", "open", and "locally led".

It would be great, but not essential, if you also have:

  • Fluent written and spoken Spanish.
  • Experience using Salesforce or a similar CRM system.
  • Experience coordinating events or webinars.
  • Background in relationship or account management roles.
  • Understanding of CSR, ESG, and environmental sustainability.
