Our client is a well-established development finance institution with a focus on driving sustainable growth in businesses across the UK. Based in London and operating on a hybrid basis, the organisation has a significant national influence collaborating with over 200 partners and shaping policies & strategies that impact numerous industries across the UK.
Job Description
Your key responsibilities include:
- Provide legal advice on a broad range of corporate and business matters in an in-house Financial Services context
- Facilitate the execution of investment transactions, from early engagement with business teams in the due diligence phase through to completion
- Advising the business on various product areas including equity & funds investments
- Collaborate with other departments to manage risks and resolve disputes
- Improving transactional processes, know-how, and training
- Managing external counsel
The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate should have:
- A legal qualification within England & Wales with at least 3+ years post qualification experience
- A strong understanding of Corporate law framed in the Financial Services sector
- The ability to commute into the office on a hybrid basis (2 days per week)
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong analytical ability and attention to detail
