An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Corporate & Commercial Solicitor to join the established team of a highly regarded Legal 500 law firm in the Dorchester area.

The role is available at Senior Associate through to Partner level and offers the opportunity to handle high-quality corporate and commercial work while playing a key role in developing the client base and future growth of the department.

The Role:

You will advise a varied client base across a broad range of corporate and commercial matters, including:

• Corporate transactions and reorganisations
• Commercial contracts and agreements
• Supply and distribution agreements
• Franchise agreements
• Terms and conditions
• General commercial advisory work

Alongside your fee-earning responsibilities, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the development of the wider team through supervision, mentoring and effective delegation.

There is also a strong emphasis on business development, with the opportunity to build client relationships, develop new business and play an important role in shaping the continued growth of the practice.

About You:

• Qualified Solicitor with strong Corporate & Commercial experience
• Suitable for candidates at Senior Associate through to Partner level
• Strong technical experience across both corporate transactions and commercial contracts
• Excellent client relationship and communication skills
• Proven business development and networking ability
• Commercially minded with a strategic approach
• Confident supervising, mentoring and supporting more junior lawyers
• Ambitious and keen to play a key role in the continued growth of the team
