Overview A leading and expanding Exeter law firm is actively recruiting a Corporate Commercial Solicitor or Partner-level Lawyer to join its growing corporate team. This is a newly prioritised strategic hire, offering genuine progression, high-quality work and a clear route into senior leadership.

The Opportunity

This is a growth-focused hire, not a replacement role. You'll join an established Corporate & Commercial team with a strong pipeline of work across Devon and the South West, advising SMEs, owner-managed businesses, investors and growth-stage companies.

Key Responsibilities - Corporate & Commercial Law

• Mergers and acquisitions
• Business and share sales and acquisitions
• Corporate restructuring and governance
• Commercial contracts and trading agreements
• Shareholder and investment agreements
• Strategic business advisory work

You will also:

• Build and maintain long-term client relationships
• Support junior lawyers and contribute to team development
• Help shape the direction of the corporate department

Your Profile

• Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive (England & Wales)
• Strong experience in corporate and/or commercial law
• Typically 3+ PQE+ (Senior Associates and Partners encouraged)
• No portable client following required
• Looking for progression and a long-term platform
