Conveyancing Solicitor Belfast

Overview
Our client, a well-established and respected law firm based in Belfast, is seeking a Conveyancing Solicitor to join their busy property team. This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor with up to 2 years' PQE who is keen to develop their career within a supportive, professional, and forward-thinking practice.

The successful candidate will manage their own caseload of residential and/or commercial property transactions while assisting senior solicitors with private client work, including Wills, probate, and estate administration. This role offers strong client contact, excellent mentorship, and long-term progression within a reputable firm.

Key Responsibilities

Managing own caseload of residential and/or commercial property transactions Assisting with Wills, probate, and estate administration matters Supporting senior solicitors in file progression and completion Meeting personal chargeable hours targets and maintaining accurate time records Drafting and reviewing contracts, leases, Wills, EPAs, and estate accounts Conducting title checks and handling pre-contract enquiries Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders, HMRC, executors, and beneficiaries Attending client meetings and taking detailed, accurate instructions with sensitivity Maintaining digital files and inboxes to a high standard Preparing bills and assisting with general administrative and team support tasks

Essential Skills and Experience

Qualified Solicitor (Northern Ireland) with up to 2 years' PQE Experience in conveyancing and exposure to private client work Effective communicator with excellent client care and interpersonal skills Well-organised and methodical, with high attention to detail Able to manage multiple priorities and produce work to a high standard Proficient in Microsoft Office and legal case management systems Conscientious, proactive, and able to take responsibility for own workload Positive, "can-do" attitude and strong team player
