This is an excellent opportunity to build your conveyancing career within a warm, collaborative environment where staff are valued, progression is encouraged, and client experience is at the heart of everything they do.
Why This Firm Stands Out
- Strong local reputation: Known across Berkshire and Wiltshire for a personable, detail-driven service that keeps clients returning generation after generation.
- Genuine development: You'll work closely with experienced conveyancers, gaining real hands-on exposure to the full transaction lifecycle - with opportunities for internal progression and potential training routes depending on performance.
- Modern working culture: A friendly team, efficient systems, and supportive managers create a workplace people stay in, not pass through.
- Fantastic work-life balance: Hungerford offers an accessible, commutable location with the charm of a prosperous market town and none of the big-city stress.

You will support fee-earners on a busy and varied caseload including:
- Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
- Remortgages and transfers of equity

- Managing client communication, providing regular updates with professionalism and warmth
- Ensuring administrative tasks are completed accurately and on time
You will become a key part of the department, supporting smooth transactions from instruction to completion.
About You
- Experience within a Residential Conveyancing team (6 months+ ideal)
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Confidence liaising with clients, agents, lenders and solicitors
- A proactive, eager-to-learn approach
- Excellent attention to detail and a calm, solutions-focused mindset
This is an ideal role for someone looking to grow their conveyancing skillset, whether progressing toward a fee-earning role, CILEx, or simply building strong long-term expertise.
Benefits
- £25,000-£30,000 salary (reflecting experience and local market)
- Supportive team and accessible senior staff
- Training and mentorship opportunities
- Modern systems and a positive working culture
- Generous holiday allowance and additional benefits
