Description

A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join our Repossession Conveyancing team as a Conveyancing Administrator.

This role will support the Repossession Conveyancing team with a range of clerical and administrative tasks daily, whilst providing an excellent level of service to our clients.

The ideal candidate will come from an administration background in a professional services business, and the successful candidate must be able to deal with high volumes of work to a high standard with accuracy and attention to detail.

This role is full-time, permanent and based at our offices in Leeds.

Working hours are 37.5 hours per week working Monday to Friday 9am - 5:30pm.

Reporting to the Head of Department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Answering incoming calls into the department, dealing with general enquiries and quotes where possible
  • Taking messages for fee earners and solicitors and passing them on in a timely manner
  • Giving general updates by phone and email where necessary
  • Checking account balances
  • File opening for new client maters
  • Handling and processing of post in a timely manner ensuring correspondence is passed to the correct fee earner promptly
  • Photocopying, filing, and scanning of client forms and paperwork on the client matter
  • Obtaining office copy documents from Land Registry
  • Issue contract packs
  • File closing for completed matters
  • Any other tasks set by the head of department or the fee earners
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

You will:

  • Have at least 1-3 years' experience in an administration role
  • Have exceptional client service skills, going above and beyond client expectations
  • Enjoy working in a team and thrive in a busy environment
  • Have great personal organisation skills
  • Be computer and IT literate
