Job Title: Lawyer

Location: South Woodford, London, E18

Terms: Full-time contract from December 2025 onwards for 6 months +, covering for a solicitor who is taking maternity leave. This is a locum role but for the right candidate there is the potential for a permanent position.

Salary: Market Salary, subject to experience.

We are a dynamic boutique law firm specialising in all aspects of commercial and residential property. This small close-knit team is based in modern, spacious offices in South Woodford, London.

About the role

Commercial and / or residential property locum lawyer with a minimum of four total years' property law experience. The ideal candidate would have both commercial and residential property experience but a candidate with only one type of experience will still be considered.

Responsibilities

• Commercial lawyer hires:
• Landlord and Tenant work (including drafting and negotiating commercial leases)
• Commercial sales and purchases
• Development work
• Secured lending
• Residential lawyer hires:
• Residential sales and purchases
• Drafting and negotiating residential leases
• Residential 'management' work
• Secured lending

Candidate requirements

• Two years' previous property law experience is required (ideally more) with strong technical ability;
• Commitment to delivering high quality legal advice and service to clients;
• Disciplined and organised;
