Role Responsibilities

The Conveyancer will be based in Sevenoaks, Kent and will be responsible for managing a varied caseload of property matters, mainly residential with some commercial cases. The day to day responsibilities within this role include:

• Providing quotes for new prospective clients
• Handling all compliance and onboarding elements for new client matters
• Dealing with administrative and general tasks arising from property transactions including preparation of invoices, correspondence with clients, drafting reports, and finalising completion payments

Person Specification

The successful Conveyancer in Sevenoaks, Kent will have previous experience managing a residential property caseload with appropriate supervision and will be confident delivering a high standard of client care.

In addition, you will possess the following experience, skills, and attributes:

• Strong technical knowledge of residential conveyancing matters
• Commercial property experience would be beneficial however is not essential
• Experience handling sales, purchases, remortgages, and transfers of equity
• The ability to organise your own workload with minimal supervision
• Good time management and a proactive approach to progressing matters
• Sound judgement and decision making when dealing with issues arising on files
• The ability to identify problems and determine an appropriate course of action
• A collaborative and supportive approach to working within a team
