Due to consistent growth and expansion, a unique opportunity has emerged for an ambitious procurement professional to join a hyper-growth, multi-billion-pound Food & Beverages / FMCG firm. They are seeking a Convenience Foods Procurement Manager to develop and execute category strategies, taking responsibility for their snacking-related spend (including crisps, chocolate, confectionery, nuts, nutrition products, and savory snacks) to deliver value, cost savings, drive sustainability, mitigate supply chain risks, and contribute to category growth and innovation.

Responsibilities:
  • Create category strategies and growth plans by identifying market opportunities to enhance the company's product range and margins.
  • Develop and nurture relationships with internal and external stakeholders and suppliers to deliver cost savings, innovation, and growth in confectionery and snacking categories.
  • Manage performance, accounts, and contracts with new and existing suppliers to maximize savings and client retention.
Required Experience:
  • Strong commercial acumen with end-to-end procurement experience within Food & Beverages, ideally within Foodservice, Hospitality, FMCG, Wholesale, or Contract Catering sectors.
  • Proven experience in category or account management.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication skills, and the ability to influence senior stakeholders and suppliers to drive category strategies.
