Controls Engineer

Overview

Controls Engineer - PLC programming. This company designs and manufactures automated machinery and robotic solutions for a range of manufacturing sectors. PLC programming experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Write the software for the Omron PLC, HMI; program the Fanuc robots
• Develop the control systems from the concept stage through to the final detailed stage
• Work with the project leader in planning, organising and managing meetings with the customer
• Specify and purchase components
• Assist with the preparation and compilation of manuals

Hours

37.5 hours per week, early finish Fridays

Requirements

• Proven ability to write PLC software
• Robot programming experience or automated machinery
• Suitably qualified engineer

Package

• £45K - £60K
• 25 days holiday, pension
