Our client is a respected Tier 2 contractor with a strong footprint across Munster and beyond. Known for delivering high-quality construction projects in both thepublic and private sectors, they are expanding their team to support a growing pipeline of work in healthcare, education, commercial and residential.
Role OverviewThis is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing the delivery of multiple construction projects from pre-construction through to completion. You will manage contracts, lead project teams, and ensure that all works are delivered safely, on time, and within budget-while maintaining strong relationships with clients, consultants, and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the planning and execution of public and private sector construction projects ranging from €5M to €30M+.
- Manage contracts, budgets, schedules, and resources across multiple sites.
- Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, health & safety standards, and quality benchmarks.
- Oversee procurement and performance of subcontractors and suppliers.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, design teams, and public bodies.
- Provide strategic input into project delivery, risk management, and commercial performance.
- Mentor and support site managers, engineers, and junior PMs.
- Degree-qualified in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related discipline.
- 8+ years' experience in project or contracts management within the Irish construction industry.
- Proven experience delivering both public sector (e.g., schools, hospitals, civic buildings) and private sector (e.g., commercial, residential, industrial) projects.
- Strong knowledge of Irish building regulations and contract forms (Public Works, RIAI, NEC).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Procore, Buildsoft).
