Due to continued growth, our Birmingham Capital (planned works/Refurbishment) team is seeking a Contracts Manager who embodies our values and can lead the successful delivery of our add contract .

The Contracts Manager role involves:
- Leading the operational delivery of various projects, including kitchen and bathroom contracts.
- Instilling ownership and responsibility in your teams, supporting successful delivery on time and within budget.
- Leading by example with a direct labour team, motivating, incentivising, and developing individuals, including apprentices.
- Taking ownership of recruitment, onboarding, and induction of new team members.
- Ensuring health and safety measures are in place and monitored.
- Managing resources, including subcontractors, plant, and materials, to deliver work as planned.
- Building relationships internally and externally, encouraging close collaboration between commercial and operational teams for successful contract delivery.
- Producing accurate site reports and implementing corrective actions.
- Managing your own time effectively to maintain productivity and ensure procedures and reports are up to date.
What you will bring to the role:
- High standards of Health and Safety management through strong system controls and leadership by example.
- Strong planning and organisational skills to ensure successful workstream delivery, resource management, and risk mitigation.
- Experience in managing direct labour, investing in your team, and maximizing individual potential to produce a high-performing team.
- A customer-centric approach, understanding and delivering on customer needs and expectations.
- An SMSTS qualification and sound knowledge of Health and Safety requirements.
- A trade background (all trades considered to NVQ level 2 or equivalent) is preferred but not essential.
