Job Description

Road Traffic Solutions are one of the largest national providers of Traffic Management services within the UK, with over 150 employees delivering quality service 24/7. RTS covers all aspects of Traffic Management including consultancy, planning, drawing, and delivery through a national network of service centres. Due to continued growth, we are expanding our teams with new roles to support our customers' needs.

We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Contracts Manager to oversee and manage projects from initiation to delivery within the South-East Region. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing projects, ensuring all works are delivered to a high standard, meet deadlines, and exceed customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Oversee and manage projects from initiation to completion, ensuring efficient execution and high standards.
  2. Serve as the primary contact for key customers within the region, conducting site and customer visits to maintain relationships and ensure satisfaction.
  3. Ensure all works are delivered to a superior standard, adhering to company guidelines and customer specifications.
  4. Handle invoicing for completed works, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  5. Address and resolve disputes or issues during the project lifecycle, collaborating with customers and internal teams for solutions.
Skills Required:
  • Proven experience, preferably in a similar industry or role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office packages (Outlook, Word, Excel).

Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 17:00, with 30 minutes for lunch (42.5 hours per week).

Salary: £35,000 per annum (to be discussed at interview).

The successful candidate will be subject to a 3-month probationary period.
