Contracts Manager - Construction - Mayo

Our client is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to oversee multiple residential construction projects across County Mayo. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious construction professional to manage projects from greenfield sites through to completion, covering a mix of both social housing and private residential developments.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of residential construction projects from initial site setup through to final handover.

• Oversee multiple projects simultaneously across Mayo, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

• Lead, coordinate, and support site teams, subcontractors, and consultants.

• Ensure compliance with building regulations, planning conditions, and health & safety standards.

• Monitor project programmes, progress, and resource allocation.

• Manage client relationships and act as the key point of contact throughout each project.

• Report regularly on project performance, risks, and milestones to senior management.

• Implement best practice construction and IT systems to streamline project management.

Essential Requirements

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline.

• Proven experience as a Contracts Manager or Senior Project Manager within residential construction.

• Strong knowledge of residential construction from greenfield development to completion.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.

• Strong IT and project management system skills.

• Ability to manage multiple sites and teams effectively.

• Full driving licence and willingness to travel within Mayo.

Desirable Experience

• Background in both social housing and private residential development.

• Familiarity with Irish building regulations, planning processes, and contract administration.
