Contract Senior / Principal Bridge Engineer

Due to recent project wins an exciting role has arisen for a Senior or Principal Bridge Engineer in our clients growing bridge engineering team.

• HND, degree or masters level qualification in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Ideally IEng or CEng with membership of relevant professional engineering institution, e.g. ICE, IStructE.
• Minimum 10 years bridge engineering experience including recent hands on bridge design.
• Experienced in using MIDAS Bridge software.
• Understanding and experience of Eurocodes and their application to bridge design.
• Experienced in the design of steel, reinforced and prestressed concrete bridge structures.
• Good understanding of CDM requirements.
• Ability to work independently to produce high quality solutions for bridge projects, and to be able to apply engineering knowledge and principles to devise innovative solutions.
• Good communication skills and ability to work alongside existing colleagues.
