Brent Housing Management is looking for Contract Officers to help drive the success of our Property Services team, supporting the delivery of investment, repairs, servicing, and cyclical maintenance programmes across our housing stock.

The Role

As a Contract Officer, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and effective delivery of our Property Services. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Providing administrative and coordination support across repairs, maintenance, and compliance programmes.
  • Maintaining accurate records, managing asset data, and monitoring performance and expenditure.
  • Supporting legal processes related to tenancy and leasehold enforcement, including the forced entry process.
  • Assisting with tender preparation, consultant briefs, and service delivery programmes.
  • Tracking and reporting on performance metrics, quality assurance, and compliance testing.
  • Managing and recording landlord compliance data and inspection outcomes.
  • Acting as a first point of contact for customer queries and complaints, ensuring timely and effective resolution.

The Person

We're looking for someone with:
  • Experience in a customer-focused office environment, ideally within housing or property services.
  • Strong administrative skills, including data management, performance monitoring, and service improvement.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities-confident in managing relationships with residents, contractors, and colleagues.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and the ability to use IT systems to generate reports and assess data.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage workloads independently, both in the office and on-site.
  • An understanding of Data Protection legislation and experience using mobile technology for field-based work.
