Contract Mechanical Design Engineer

We're recruiting for an immediately available Contract Mechanical Design Engineer to support a specialist engineering team working on pressure vessels, autoclaves and associated industrial equipment.

Contract Mechanical Design Engineer - Key responsibilities - Pressure Vessel, ASME, Autoclaves, High-pressure Plant Equipment

• Design and develop pressure systems and related mechanical equipment

• Produce 3D CAD models, fabrication drawings, BOMs and specifications

• Ensure compliance with relevant standards (e.g. PD5500, ASME VIII, EN)

• Liaise with suppliers/fabricators and support technical queries through manufacture

Contract Mechanical Design Engineer - Key requirements - Pressure Vessel, ASME, Autoclaves, High-pressure Plant Equipment

• Mechanical design experience in pressure vessels, autoclaves or high-pressure plant equipment

• Strong 3D CAD skills (SolidWorks / Inventor or similar)

• Good knowledge of fabrication, materials, tolerances and design for manufacture

• Able to start nigh-on immediately
